Without housing we spent $6150 which is unusually high because we booked our flights to Germany, I bought bar stools. Usually it is around $3000

Too much. I gotta do better with budgeting. We just moved so I started trying to decorate. Realize I don't have to do it all at once. Now it's mostly on food, my husband and I eat out too much. Then on my daughter, diapers, wipes and she just went up a clothing size that I don't have. I am going to do better at managing money lol.

LSA Ballers are on this here thread.....
4-5 k spending before or after bills.
Very interesting..........

Lemme go into those past stimmy threads. Check some THANGS right quick.

I'm not putting my expenses or net pay out there for y'all to clown or call fake, but the one thing I'd suggest to many of you is to make a realistic budget before you are paid your salary.

It's a practice I use and I know down to the cent exactly how much is going to be spent or saved each month, and on what.

There are no surprises at all, and unlike when I lived in the US, we don't get our salaries twice a month here. It's once monthly, so a budget is vital.

I just did my august expenses and I wasted like $2,300 & that's without rent sheeshhhh
-$200 on Starbucks
-$250 on postmates
-$250 on ubers
-$300 on groceries
I really need to cut back on some things

How much do y'all spend a month without rent?

Too fucking much. I had a bunch of random, one-off expenses pop up theze last 7 months but what is wasteful is the amount of money I spend on food delivery apps. Each meal doubles if not triples in price due to fees and merchants marking up their items. I'll never forget my local Cold Stone was selling large cups for $7 but on DoorDash they were charging $11! ELEVEN FUCKING DOLLARS VS. SEVEN IN PERSON! And mind you, before the pandemic they had already decreased the cup sizes. They made the medium cup the large and the small cup the medium while going up on price. And this trend is getting common in the food industry for the past 5 years or so. They keep needlessly going up in price while cutting back on the amount and even the quality of food.

It's like I shouldn't bother eating out at all but the convenience of not cooking after a long day makes you so quick to subconsciously order something. I had gotten credit card just for dining so I could get cash back and first month's spend hit $400. Granted I put a pair of shoes on there and some groceries because I needed money but the bulk of that is all takeout.

Damnnnnnn
Is that including rent/morgage? That's crazy

Not really. We are retired with very good pensions. We spoil our grandkids and put 1k in their college funds each money. We travel a lot With an average trip cost of 2500.00. We spend 500 a month on a personal trainer, another 600 on hobbies, and 750.00 on food.
